Tight Tilt Goes to Chiefs, 2-1
In a low-scoring contest between the Connetquot Chiefs and the Myrtle Beach Seahawks, pitcher Mathieu Neri was excellent. The Connetquot left-hander was named the player of the game in Connetquot's 2-1 win. Mario Hurrado nailed down his 24th save. The Chiefs now have a record of 51-45.

Dale Quick's at-bat in the top of the fifth was significant, coming with runners on 2nd and 3rd and the game tied, 0-0. The Connetquot center fielder hit a 2-run triple off Garrett Schaper to put the Chiefs up.

"If I go out there and help the team win, that's all you can do," said Neri.
