Seahawks Take Down Chukars, 6-5
|
Myrtle Beach starter Billy Grange had a strong outing against the Idaho Falls Chukars at Seahwaks Stadium. The left-hander was a big part of his team's 6-5 win. Grange, now 6-5, was the winner. In 5.1 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 7, walking 0, and allowing 1 earned run. The Seahawks improved to 37-28.
Will Huggins aided the Myrtle Beach cause with a 2-run single in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the second baseman went 2 for 5 with 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI.
"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Huggins.
