Garrett Leads Caterpillars to 6-1 Win over Chiefs
|
Connetquot had no answer for Grand Forks Caterpillars starter Reid Garrett, who flummoxed Chiefs hitters as the Caterpillars cruised to a 6-1 victory. The Caterpillars improved to 22-26.
Garrett was effective for Grand Forks, seldom allowing the Chiefs to square up a pitch. The left-hander tossed 85 pitches over 7.1 innings. He limited Connetquot to just 1 run on 2 hits.
"Reid did a tremendous job," said Grand Forks manager Curtis Lee.
