Loss to Bulls Extends Bellevue Losing Streak
|
Belleville Bulls starter Nelson Cuevas was definitely locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Bellevue Bruins, 1-0. Cuevas got the win, improving to 4-5. He allowed 6 hits and walked 1 over 6.1 innings. Cuevas allowed no earned runs. The slumping Bruins have lost 6 straight.
Armando Reyes took Mitch Burnham deep with one out in the bottom of the second. On a 2-2 cutter, Reyes drilled a solo home run to right-center. It was his 6th home run of the season and put Belleville on top, 1-0.
