|
The Galesburg Guzzlers picked up a win at Galesburg Field, knocking off the Grand Forks Caterpillars, 8-1. Starting pitcher Rex Negrete was an essential part of his team's success. Negrete went 7 innings to notch the win. He scattered 6 hits, walked 0, and struck out 12. His record improves to 4-2. The slumping Caterpillars have lost 9 straight.
