Loss Extends Idaho Falls Losing Streak

Hammond Herons starter Pancho Mastache was definitely locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Idaho Falls Chukars, 4-2. Esteban Jiménez recorded his 9th save for Hammond. Idaho Falls now has a 6-game losing streak.
In the top of the seventh, Marcos Costa had a big 2-run single off Poto Scacceri. With the single, the Hammond pinch hitter put his team in front, 4-2. He went 1 for 2, while adding 2 RBI in the contest.
"It's always nice to be on the winning side," Costa told the Hammond Times. "But we take nothing for granted."
