Myers 'Lights Out' in Connetquot Win
|
Connetquot pitcher Cooper Myers did his part in helping his team beat the Delaware 1787 BC, 7-1. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Connetquot has an impressive 15-5 record.
The 1787 BC had little chance against Myers, who overpowered Delaware hitters and struck out 11.
"Cooper was throwing free and easy," said Connetquot manager Don Nelson.
