Multi-HR Day for Berneu as Lionhearts Overpower Fur Traders, 13-3
Anselmo Berneu left his imprint on the 13-3 Lannister United win against the Tacoma Fur Traders. Berneu, who is tied for 3rd in the PAA with a .508 slugging percentage, slugged 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice. Doug Freeth earned the win to go to 1-0. He allowed 3 earned runs on 4 hits, with 6 walks and 3 strikeouts. The 4th-place Lionhearts improved to 39-35.

With Lannister United leading 2-0 in the bottom of the second, Berneu hit a fastball from Xavier Benítez for a 3-run home run. It was his 10th home run of the season and put the Lionhearts ahead, 5-0.
