Lenny Roper had a good game, but he could not keep the Yakima Hops from falling, 7-4, to the Tacoma Fur Traders at Ballpark of Tacoma. The Yakima third baseman went 4 for 4 with a double, 3 singles, and a walk in the loss. Curt Walker earned his 3rd save in 6 tries. The 6th-place Fur Traders now have a win-loss record of 37-35.

Also contributing to the win was second baseman Carlos Alicea, who stroked a 2-run single in the bottom of the fifth for Tacoma. For the game, Alicea was 2 for 4 with 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI.

"It all depends on which version of our team shows up," said Alicea. "When we put it all together, I think we're a great team."
