Eclipse Saddle Highlanders with 6-3 Loss
Asheville left fielder Alejandro Castillo had a terrific game. He was 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Northville beat the Highlanders, 6-3. Castillo was named the player of the game despite the loss. Northville reliever Manuel Delgado picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. José Luján shouldered the loss. The Eclipse improve their record to 31-40 with the win over Asheville.

In the bottom of the 4th, Northville took the lead on a 2-run double by Dave Shaw. At the time, the Eclipse were trailing 3-2, but Shaw's hit with two outs against Asheville pitcher José Luján put them in front, 4-3.

"I felt good up there," said Shaw. "I saw the ball well."
