Potter Slugs Hot N Readys to 6-2 Win

It was a fun time at The Pizza Oven, where the Mercer Island Screaming Eagles and Little Caesars Hot N Readys tangled.
The Little Caesars Hot N Readys beat the Mercer Island Screaming Eagles, 6-2, at The Pizza Oven. Little Caesars right fielder Jason Potter earned player of the game honors with an outstanding performance. He hit 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Juan Contreras nailed down his 2nd save.
Potter had a key at-bat for Little Caesars early in the game. With runners on 1st and 3rd, he hit a 3-run home run. It was his 8th home run of the season and gave Little Caesars an early 3-0 lead.
"We took advantage of our opportunities," Potter told the Little Caesars Citizen. "It's as simple as that."
With the win, the Hot N Readys have a record of 35-35.
