Lionhearts Deal Hot N Readys 7-4 Setback
|
Anselmo Berneu left his imprint on the 7-4 Lannister United win against the Little Caesars Hot N Readys. Berneu, who is tied for 8th in the PAA in runs scored with 37, went 1 for 2 with a home run and 3 walks, while scoring 3 runs. The winner was Currito Melena, who threw 102 pitches over 7 innings. The right-hander was charged with 3 runs on 8 hits. Earning his 1st save for Lannister United was Ramiro Flores.
Junior Pittman contributed an important at-bat in the top of the first. With the bases loaded, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run. It was one at-bat that helped send Lannister United to the win.
"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling pretty confident after that win," said Pittman.
