Mont Delivers Walk-Off Win for Highlanders
Fans who gathered at Asheville Park saw a good contest between the Asheville Highlanders and Little Caesars Hot N Readys.

Asheville Highlanders starter Romano Martínez was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Little Caesars Hot N Readys, 2-1. Luis López picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-4. Ordono Lima was tagged with the loss.

Edén Mont was the walk-off hero for Asheville. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth, the Asheville center fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said Asheville Highlanders manager Jorge Garza.

Asheville currently is in 9th place in the Premier AA at 28-37.
