Cabrera has 4 hit night, Thundercats Move to 59-38
|
Thundercats shortstop Juan Cabrera put his stamp on his team's 5-1 win over the Vancouver Grey Wolves. Cabrera went 4 for 5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for Richardson City in the contest. Richardson City starter Cordell Wilson was credited with the win after throwing 109 pitches over 8 innings. His record now stands at 12-6. At 59-38, the Thundercats have a slim two-game lead in the Division I.
With Richardson City leading 1-0 in the top of the third, Cabrera hit a changeup from Adrian Neumann for a grand slam home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Thundercats ahead, 5-0.
"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Cabrera told the Richardson City Daily News.
