Misfits Take 10-1 Pounding
|
Salem had no answer for Yakima Hops starter Jack Thornton, who flummoxed Misfits hitters as the Hops cruised to a 10-1 victory. The Misfits, at 31-25, have lost 5 in a row.
Early in the game, shortstop Reginald Kalkman had a 2-run home run for Yakima. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Hops on top, 3-1.
"I just trusted my stuff," said Thornton.
