The Richardson City Thundercats topped the Oakland Oaks, 3-2, in Premier League action at The Thunder Dome. The player of the game was Richardson City pitcher Alec Pittman. The Thundercats go to 58-37, putting them first in the Division I.

Richardson City won the game in the bottom of the tenth inning. That's when center fielder Joey Jones hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Thundercats fans to their feet.

"I liked his command," said Richardson City manager Imran Kopitar. "Alec was throwing strikes."
