Screaming Eagles Suffer 4-3 Loss to Lionhearts
Lannister United starter Justin Connolly had a strong outing against the Mercer Island Screaming Eagles at Mercer Island Grounds. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 4-3 win. Connolly was the winning pitcher and moves to 2-1. He threw 6.2 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 5 and giving up 3 walks. Lannister United, now 9-13, holds 8th place in the Premier AA.

In the top of the 6th, first baseman Steve Hinkle gave Lannister United the lead when he hit a 2-run home run. The Lionhearts had been trailing 1-0, but the two-out home run off Mercer Island pitcher Tomiji Saikawa changed that -- and Lannister United went on to win.
