Hot N Readys Beat Fur Traders, 9-6
Little Caesars withstood an impressive performance by Tacoma shortstop Enrique Costello to defeat the Fur Traders, 9-6, at The Pizza Oven. Costello went 3 for 4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI. Gerardo Negrón got the save, the 1st for him this season. The Hot N Readys, with just their 6th win so far in 2026, have yet to catch fire.

Also doing his part was right fielder Noe Grohman, who stroked a 2-run triple in the bottom of the fifth for Little Caesars. For the game, Grohman was 2 for 3 with a triple, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.

"I'm proud of the boys for pulling through," said Little Caesars Hot N Readys manager José Vázquez. "The wins don't come easy for this team, but everyone's got an extra jump in their step after a game like this."
