Late Rally Gets Win for Braves
The Bakersfield Nobles wasted an inspired, 8-inning effort from starter Bernie Sanders, falling 2-1 to the Gryfindor Braves at Jerome Grounds. Gryfindor reliever George Armstrong picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. John Coleman was saddled with the loss. Gryfindor occupies 4th place in the Premier AAA at 48-45.

Arturo Romero was a key contributor to the win for the Braves. In the top of the 15th with no one out, the light-hitting right fielder stroked a single to left. He was 1 for 3.

"The game is never over 'til it's over," said a jubilant , the Gryfindor skipper.
