González Leads Dogfish Head to Win over Nobles
The Milton Dogfish Head knocked off the Bakersfield Nobles, 12-5, at Milton Corner Tavern. Jorge González, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Milton won. The catcher went 4-5 with a home run and 3 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. Manny Pérez earned the save, his 2nd. Milton has now won 3 in a row.

Also doing his part was shortstop Luis Alomar, who stroked a 2-run triple in the bottom of the first for Milton. For the game, Alomar was 1 for 5 with a triple, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.

"We need to keep playing good baseball," González told the Milton Times.
