With left fielder Bryce Reilly leading the charge, the Sunset District Fog defeated the Pure Michigan Great Lakers, 6-5, at Lansing Park. Reilly, who is tied for 3rd in the PAAA in stolen bases with 16, went 4-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Sunset District reliever Tony Hernández picked up the win, upping his record to 4-0. Donald Gregory shouldered the loss. Jim Unknown closed the game out for Sunset District, earning his 1st save.
Reilly had a key at-bat for Sunset District early in the game. With a runner on 1st, he hit a 2-run home run. It was his 5th home run of the season and gave Sunset District an early 2-0 lead.
