Kaluka Wene of the Royse City Targaryens was certainly the King of the Hill today in the USPL Triple A. He really did a number on the Bakersfield Nobles -- and that number was zero -- the number of hits he gave up in his 1-0 victory at Jerome Grounds.

"I can't believe I got a no-hitter!" said an exuberant Wene after the game. "That is the last thing you think about when you go out to the mound. You just want to win the game. The toughest part was the last couple of innings. Everybody in the ballpark knows you have a no-hitter, including me. That was the hard part, keeping your focus and concentration while your heart is pounding."

Wene recorded 6 strikeouts and 1 walk in his sensational performance.
