Sánchez Excels, But Dogfish Head Win
Milton withstood an impressive performance by Sunset District first baseman Albert Sánchez to defeat the Fog, 8-7, at Milton Corner Tavern. Sánchez was 4-4 with 2 home runs and 2 singles, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice. The win was credited to Roberto Cabrera in relief. His record improves to 2-1. Ted Locke took the loss. Jim Unknown earned the save for Milton, his 1st of the year.

Milton took a 8-7 lead in the bottom of the eighth inning, when Luis Vicenteno hit a clutch solo home run to bring Dogfish Head fans to their feet.

"It was a nice win for our side today," said Milton Dogfish Head manager Wes Murray. "Not perfect, but we'll take it."

The 7th-place Fog have lost 5 consecutive games.
