The Bakersfield Nobles got a stellar performance from pitcher Alberto Reyes, who handcuffed the Gryfindor offense en route to a 10-2 win at Cayuse Ballpark. Reyes was the winning pitcher and moves to 2-1. He threw 7.2 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 8 and giving up 3 walks. Bakersfield is now 38-20, 5 games up in the Premier AAA.

In the top of the fourth inning, third baseman Gerjan de Best came through big-time for the Nobles. With Bakersfield leading 2-0, he belted a 3-run home run.

"When this team comes together and plays the way we can, we can compete with anyone," said Reyes. "I think we're going to keep proving that."
