Nobles Stymie Pawnee, Take 4-0 Win
|
Albert Castillo pitched well, but the Pawnee ParksNRec still lost the game, falling 4-0 to the Bakersfield Nobles at Whips Ballpark. The Nobles saw their win-loss record go to 28-19. At the same time, the ParksNRec fall to 20-27.
Also contributing to the win was left fielder Alfredo García, who stroked a run-scoring triple in the top of the fourth for Bakersfield. For the game, García went 2-4 with a triple. He scored 2 times.
García told the Bakersfield Chronicle: "I don't feel you win baseball games by working harder than the other team or 'wanting it more.' You win just by scoring more runs."
