Great Lakers Defeat Lynx, 7-2
The Pure Michigan Great Lakers got a stellar effort from pitcher Donald Gregory, helped Pure Michigan score a 7-2 win over the visiting Calgary Lynx. Pure Michigan occupies second place in the Premier AAA at 22-16.

In the bottom of the 2nd, Pure Michigan took the lead on a 2-run home run by Kap-yong Chong. At the time, the Great Lakers were trailing 1-0, but Chong's hit with two outs against Calgary pitcher Octávio Fernández put them in front, 2-1.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Gregory told the Pure Michigan Daily News.
