Nobles Suffer 10-9 Loss to Targaryens
|
Jorge Garza added some punch to the Royse City offense, helping them outmuscle the Bakersfield Nobles, 10-9. In the game, Garza went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Royse City starter Kaluka Wene was credited with the win after throwing 100 pitches over 6.1 innings. His record now stands at 4-1. The slumping Nobles have dropped 6 in a row.
Garza came through with some timely hitting for Royse City. With the score 1-0 in the bottom of the second and two down, Garza hit a 1-1 curveball for a 2-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season -- and a big reason the Targaryens managed to win.
