José Salinas never let the Gryfindor Braves find their groove. Throughout the game, Salinas, who is tied for 4th in the PAAA with a 4 quality starts, relied on his bread and butter, his splitter, in pitching the Rocks to a win. Salinas, now 4-2, was the winner. In 8.2 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 6, walking 2, and allowing 1 earned run. The Rocks bumped their record to 15-10 with this latest triumph.

Miguel Rodríguez, who is tied for 9th in the PAAA in home runs with 4, aided the Plymouth cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the third. For the game, the designated hitter went 2 for 4 with a double.

"I just tried to attack the bottom of the zone," said Salinas.
