It was a good time at Fog Park, where fans came to watch the Milton Dogfish Head and Sunset District Fog get after it.
Sunset District catcher Joe Phillips was a significant contributor in his team's 4-3 triumph over the Milton Dogfish Head. He was 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs for Sunset District. Finn Wuilink got the save, the 3rd for him this season.
Esteban Lugo in the bottom of the fourth had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and the Fog leading 2-1, the Sunset District shortstop hit a sacrifice fly.
"I'm proud of the way we took care of business and got the 'W' today," Phillips told the Sunset District Gazette. "Whatever it takes."
The Dogfish Head, at 6-14, have stumbled out of the gate.
