Polar Bears Squelch Richland Offense in Shutout Win
The Polar Bears grabbed a 5-0 win at The Igloo, overcoming a fine effort from Richland pitcher Gary Kellenberger. Kellenberger went 5 innings and allowed no earned runs. Billings reliever Serafino Abreu picked up the win, upping his record to 6-5. Gary Kellenberger absorbed the loss. With the victory, the Polar Bears record now stands at 55-47.

Billings took control in the bottom of the sixth. With no one out and the bases loaded, Arturo Mateo hit a run-scoring single to make it 1-0, Polar Bears.

"It was a tough night at the plate," said Richland manager Paul Baker.
