The Westwood Sixshooters got a superb performance from center fielder Jesús Vargas, but the Thunder Hawks still won the game, 5-4. Vargas was named the player of the game despite the loss. He went 1-3 with a home run and 2 walks. Ft. Polk South reliever Louis McDowell picked up the win to move to 2-0. Will Moore suffered the loss. The first-place Thunder Hawks have won 4 consecutive games.
