The Polar Bears had to overcome a fine performance from Richland pitcher Hartmann Riedman to grab a 4-1 win at The Igloo. Riedman went 6.1 innings and allowed 3 earned runs. Billings reliever Juan Ríos was the winner. His record is now 10-3. The losing pitcher was Hartmann Riedman. The Polar Bears, at 54-47, sit in 5th place in the Menard's AA.

Nuevo Arraijan, Panama-born Víctor Fortis came through in the clutch. In the bottom of the third, with the bases loaded and the Polar Bears trailing 1-0, he hit a 2-run single to right to put Billings on top.
