Barrett Sensational for Herons
In a tight game between the Glendale Herons and the San Bernardino Grasshoppers, pitcher Mike Barrett was terrific on the mound. The Glendale right-hander was named the player of the game in Glendale's 3-0 win. Ralph Horn earned the save, his 25th. Glendale is now 51-49, San Bernardino 40-60.

Barrett delivered a quality start for Glendale. The 5' 10" right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits over 8.1 innings of work.
