Muńóz Slugs Piranhas to 7-5 Win
|
In a tight contest at The Tank, the Panama City Piranhas edged the Wizarding Express by the score of 7-5. The Panama City Piranhas' right fielder Sergio Muńóz, who blasted 2 home runs, was named the player of the game. The Piranhas go to 50-30, putting them first in the Division I.
Panama City grabbed the momentum in the bottom of the seventh, when Muńóz, who is rated as the 93rd best prospect by BNN, hit a 2-run home run. His 8th home run put the Piranhas out in front, 6-5.
"This is a very good team," said Muńóz. "We have the chance to do something special."
