Ballesteros Propels Virginia Beach to 7-0 Win
The Virginia Beach Deuces extended their winning streak at Nationals Park.

Virginia Beach got an elite performance from starting pitcher Jorge Ballesteros in taking a 7-0 decision over the Ottawa Nationals. The first-place Deuces have a one-game lead in their division.

The Deuces liked what they saw from Ballesteros. The 23-year old pitcher had a commanding presence on the mound, limiting the Nationals to no earned runs on 4 hits over 8 innings, and striking out 7.

"I just tried to attack the bottom of the zone," said Ballesteros.
