The Richland Rails topped the Myrtle Beach Mermen, 6-3, in M3L Double A action at Rails Ballpark. The player of the game was Richland pitcher Gary Kellenberger. Richland is now riding a 4-game win streak.

Richland first baseman Lee Faught helped the Rails go up, 1-0, in the bottom of the fourth inning. With the game tied, Faught hit a run-scoring double off Myrtle Beach pitcher Jorge Carrión.

"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Faught told the Richland Chronicle.
