Deuces Pull Off Thrilling Win in Extras
Virginia Beach left fielder Juan González was instrumental in his team's 6-4 win over the Richland Rails. González, who is tied for 9th in the 3AA in RBI with 23, went 3-5 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Deuces. Aurelio Ornelas, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 7th save. The Deuces, at 24-16, lead by one game in their division.

The most important at-bat came in the top of the tenth inning. With one out, Roberto Guillén threw a 1-0 fastball to González, which he hit to left for a 2-run home run. It put Virginia Beach in front, 6-4.

"It's a satisfying feeling, to win like we did," said González.
