Grasshoppers Losing Streak at 5 after Extra-Inning Loss to Thunder Hawks

In a tight contest at Field of the Grasshoppers, the Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks edged the San Bernardino Grasshoppers by the score of 3-2. The Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks' catcher Juan Báez, who blasted 1 home run, was named the player of the game. With the win, Ft. Polk South pushes its record to 10-6.
The most important at-bat came in the top of the 12th inning. With two out, Chang-bum P'i threw a first pitch fastball to Báez, which he hit to left for a 2-run home run. It put Ft. Polk South in front, 3-1.
"Exciting game to play in," said Báez. "Getting the win makes it even better."
