The Billings Polar Bears and Virginia Beach Deuces obliged those fans who came to The Igloo looking for a good time.

The Billings Polar Bears stopped the Virginia Beach Deuces, 5-4, at The Igloo. The Polar Bears got a big game from Homer Spence, who was 4 for 5 with a home run and 2 doubles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Billings reliever José Maestas picked up the win, upping his record to 3-1. Gabriel Herrera was saddled with the loss. Jim Unknown picked up the save for Billings, his 1st of the year.

José Machado contributed an important at-bat in the bottom of the second. With the bases loaded, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run. It was one at-bat that helped send Billings to the win.

"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Machado said.

Losses have been rare for the Deuces, who are now 9-3.
