Mermen Get One-Run Win at Ottawa
A 4-RBI performance from the 22-year old center fielder Sergio Rodríguez helped the Myrtle Beach Mermen beat the Ottawa Nationals, 11-8. The win lifts Myrtle Beach to a record of 3-4.

Myrtle Beach took a 10-7 lead on Rodríguez's 2nd home run of the season. The grand slam home run, which he hit off Norberto Flores in the top of the seventh, propelled Myrtle Beach to the win.

"It wasn't a pretty victory," said Rodríguez, "but we got it done."
