Enríquez has 3 hit night as Red Knights Squeeze Past Chicago

Getting a good performance from right fielder Alfonso Enríquez, the Capital District Red Knights defeated the Chicago Hawks, 10-4. Enríquez went 3-4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 for the Red Knights. Leroy Moody earned the win to go to 9-8. He allowed 3 earned runs on 4 hits, with 3 walks and 4 strikeouts. The Hawks, at 31-75, have lost 10 in a row.
Enríquez had a game-changing single in the bottom of the fourth. On a first pitch changeup from Benny York, he banged a run-scoring single to left-center, giving the Red Knights a 1-0 lead. It was the 88th hit of the year for Enríquez.
"It all depends on which version of our team shows up," said Enríquez. "When we put it all together, I think we're a great team."
