Flamingos Salazar Sizzles with Cycle
You don't get to see a player hit a single, double, triple and home run in the same game very often, but when it happens, it is special moment. Roberto Salazar of the Flamingos enjoyed that moment today, going 4 for 5 and hitting for the cycle against the Dodgers. While the Las Vegas right fielder had great success today at the plate, his team wasn't as fortunate. The Flamingos lost the contest by a 9-8 score.

"I didn't even realize I accomplished the feat until my teammates pointed it out," said a smiling Salazar.

For his historic day Salazar had 4 hits in 5 at-bats with 4 RBI and 3 runs scored. Not a bad day's work. He'll get his name in the league record book, too.

Roberto Salazar grounded out in the 1st, hit an RBI triple in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Russ Horne in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and doubled in the 9th.

For the year Salazar has hit at a .346 clip with 33 RBIs, 1 home run and 52 runs scored.
