Greenville right-hander Sukejuro Yokoyama made an effective start against the Capital District Red Knights at 84s Field, leading his team to a 5-2 win. Johnny Allen converted his 3rd save in 3 tries. The 84s now have a record of 31-50 with the win over Capital District.

Greenville took control in the bottom of the sixth. With no one out and a runner on 2nd, Rodrigo Lugo hit a 2-run home run to make it 3-1, 84s.
