|
Todd Williams did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Oakland Oaks from losing, 4-3, to the Wizarding Express at Platform 9 3/4. Williams was 1 for 2 with a home run and 3 walks. He scored 2 runs. Wizarding reliever Dorian Daly picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Ángelo Méndez was saddled with the loss. Wizarding bumps their record to 34-31 with the win.
Micheal Garren had the critical at-bat for Wizarding. With one out in the bottom of the tenth inning, he hit a walk-off run-scoring single. It gave Wizarding the 4-3 walk-off win.
"It's great when the crowd gets into it," Garren said.
