Gold Sox Rally to Eke Out Win
The Montana Pandas got a superb performance from pitcher Roderick Rhodes. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Chicago. The Gold Sox won the game, 1-0. In spite of the loss, Rhodes was named the player of the game. He threw 6 innings of shutout ball. The Chicago Gold Sox have an impressive 41-24 record.

Chicago won the game in the bottom of the tenth inning. That's when right fielder Melvin Castro hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Gold Sox fans to their feet.

"Hustle and hard work is a big part of our success," said Castro. "Those qualities define our team."
