Evergreens Take Nail-Biter Over Red Knights
The Portland Evergreens defeated the Capital District Red Knights, 5-4, in Third League action at Evergreen Park, with Portland pitcher Logan Gregory named player of the game. Portland goes to 19-32, Capital District to 33-18.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth. That's when Portland shortstop Shang-de Zhang, facing Oswaldo Mobray, had a run-scoring double. It gave the Evergreens the 5-4 win.

"It was terrific getting this win," Gregory said. "We put in a lot of work to do it."
