The Las Vegas Flamingos and Kingston Township Legion obliged those fans who came to The Strip hoping for an exciting game.
Las Vegas Flamingos starter Melvin Haney was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Kingston Township Legion, 5-4. Their 30-20 record puts the Flamingos 4th in the Division III.
Las Vegas took the lead in the bottom of the third when Chris McKinney stroked a 2-run home run. That made the score 2-0 in favor of Las Vegas. For the day, McKinney went 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
"Our guys are never satisfied," said Las Vegas manager JJ Hoban.
