Montana third baseman Ray Sears picked up 5 ribbies while helping his team beat back the Chicago Gold Sox, 6-4. Joe Kehoe got the win, improving to 4-1. He pitched 5 innings, giving up 5 hits and 3 runs, while striking out 5 and walking 2. Greg Jordan nailed down his 2nd save.

Early in the game, Sears had a grand slam home run for Montana. It was his 20th home run of the season and put the Pandas on top, 5-2.

"I still think this team has room for improvement," Sears told the Montana News.

The Pandas own a robust 29-18 mark.
