Thundercats Take Tight Tilt
|
Starting pitcher Alec Pittman pitched well enough to help the Richardson City Thundercats beat the Vancouver Grey Wolves by the score of 4-3. The first-place Grey Wolves have lost 13 straight games.
One important at-bat came with the bases loaded in the bottom of the fifth. That's when Eduardo Álvarez, who is tied for 8th in the PL in triples with 3, drew a walk, driving in 1 run. The Thundercats went on to win.
"We made a couple of mistakes," said Vancouver skipper David Krause, "and it cost us."
