|
Phoenix beat Houston on the strength of starter Alejandro Guerra's fine effort. The left-hander led his team to a 3-2 win. Guerra got the win, improving to 8-8. He allowed 6 hits and walked 1 over 6.2 innings. Guerra allowed 2 earned runs. Phoenix goes to 65-37. The win puts them 7 games up in their division.
Early in the game, center fielder Hiwahikeiki Noelani had a bases-clearing triple for Phoenix. It was his 3rd triple of the season and put the Hotspur Reserves on top, 3-0.
